Episode Delay

Hey, everybody! I’ve of course been doing plenty of episode delays as of late, mostly due to storyline stuff, needing to sleep, and not getting stuff done with in as timely a fashion as I would like, but this time I’m giving you ample warning that the upcoming episode, a review of the 1966 Supermarionation movie “Thunderbirds Are Go,” is going to be delayed. I’ll TRY for Monday night, more likely Tuesday morning. In this case, it’s partly a result of a lot of side stuff – dealing with youtube’s demonetization issues, rushing to get Longbox scripts done with before September hits, and working on storyline material in anticipation of ENDING this dang thing by the end of September, but most especially the fact that I’m going out of town for Geek.Kon this weekend, so I sadly can’t work on it while I’m in Wisconsin. I am bringing work with me to try to get Longbox (and the next script) worked on while I’m at the con during any downtime I might have.

I’m frankly very disappointed in myself for so many delays as of late. The simple truth is that while it’s understandable for more complex episodes, particularly with storyline stuff… but even simpler reviews are coming down to the wire as of late and it’s unacceptable in my mind, especially as we head into the tenth anniversary of the show. I’m going to rededicate myself to doing better in the future again and getting these out on time. In case you didn’t read the ending credits of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure review, starting in October I’m planning on going back to the 4 PM release time on Monday. It went to 10 AM due to ThatGuyWithTheGlasses at the time switching to 10 AM updates and I wanted them up on Monday there, too, but frankly if it makes it easier to get stuff done with, I’ll put them up on Channel Awesome on Tuesday and have them up on youtube and my site on Monday. I might switch it back to the morning again at some point if I feel I can keep up with that again, but for now, that will be the start of that.

As for now, I hope you guys enjoy the Thunderbirds review! I think the script is hilarious so far and this will be the last storyline segments before we head into the two finale episodes later in September, currently scheduled for the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic #11-12 and Stormwatch #0 reviews. They might push into October if I have to, but that’s what we’re going for. Fortunately the current plans for the Halloween storyline will be only 3-4 episodes, so we SHOULD be good if we do need to dip into it.

Thanks you all for your continued patience and I hope you have a great weekend!
